Blue ....

... sky, azure, cobalt, turquoise, ultramarine, lapis, teal, cyan, cerulean, royal, navy, sapphire, denim, cornflower, aegean, royal, periwinkle, peacock, baby , powder ... blue!


A cracker of a day - wall to wall sunshine, stunning colours and even some warmth in the sun. I was tempted to consider a swim - it was seriously arctic and a refusal ensued. Ah well. Instead I threw myself into the garden and tackled some brambles.

Off out tonight to a talk on the Battle of Bantry Bay - yes there was one, in 1689, part of the Williamite Wars. It may or may not be riveting.
