Family Time

The older I get, the more I love to travel. To get out of “town “, take a long ride and visit a city or a place that I haven’t been or don’t visit often. Today provided a great opportunity to head out and visit Michigan in the fall. The colors are amazing this time of year and we caught a beautiful day of great sun and warm temps.
As I took in the beauty of the day and a super cool city with incredible art and museums - I was reminded that all of this would have been only half as great IF my family was absent. My wife and girls are super adventurous, curious and easy-going, up for everything. The day was unplanned, the walk was uncharted and at the end of it all - it was an incredible day.
For me, it’s fun to see new things but it has always been better to “experience” new things with others. I hope you get some good “family time” this week and get out and enjoy the October days.
