Book Signing and Fun with Friends

Dear Diary,

Such a lovely day.  A blipmeet and lunch at my favorite restaurant and then on to the book signing.  All of these folks were also part of our Irish Rovers team in Ireland in May so it was a nice reunion too.  Brad had spent over three years compiling this fascinating illustrated history of his town, Brownfield, Maine.  It was received wonderful reviews.  He scanned old glass plate negatives and colorized many of them and it all brought the town to life again after it was nearly obliterated in the great Maine fire of 1947.  A stunning piece of work and such dedication.  All the proceeds of the sale of the books goes in support of the library and historical society.
