Seaside Frolics

It all looks like fun, and it was.....we had such fun at the beach and I had many lovely fun filled pictures to choose. But went with these three that I had set the camera on quick fire. This is our daughter Janelle, and of course many of you know Ella & Harry.

The nor-wester came up very suddenly (again) which cleared the beach very quickly.

There are serious fires south of Christchurch, whiped out four lifestyle blocks and their houses......a diaster.

Further more, with all the rain that is dumping on the main divide over recent days, flooding is again occurring. An announcement over TV a few minutes said that it had been noticed from the air of a big surge of water coming down the Waimakariri River.....oh dear.

My family leave in the morning for their car trip to Wellington....boo hoo. But all good things have to come to an end.

BTW, thanks for the best wishes for my wrist/hand.....I can report the RICE treatment has helped enormoursly.
