Sunday: Sir John A

We’re having one of our regular get togethers in Ottawa tomorrow.  My colleague from Toronto and Montreal will travel up tomorrow morning but for my colleague from Calgary and myself it meant travelling today.  My act of rebellion was not to do any work on the flight.  Actually, that’s not strictly true - I just plain forgot that I had a couple of things I was meant to read.  I’ll just wing it........

I’m staying at my Big Boss’ house which is also the former house of Sir John A McDonald, first Prime Minister of Canada.  And here he is - there’s a bust of him in my room, watching my every move........
