Unwelcome resident

Perhaps harsh, but necessary , Dr D removed this swallow's nest from over the front door of Hermione Cottage this morning. Beneath it on the doormat , to greet our guests was an 8" pile of malodorous feacal waste.
All sweet now and painted wooden blocks installed to discourage a swallow rebuild.
