St Martin's, Bladon

Our band performed at the Oxfordshire & District Brass Band Association Contest this afternoon. While overall we were 5th out of 6 entrants in our section,  our four non-brass players won the best Percussion Section of the Day Award; credit where it's due - the rest of us need to pull our socks up!

Prior to the contest we had a rehearsal in the village of Bladon, the churchyard of which is the resting place of Winston and Clementine Churchill, see extra.
