Cleaning Revelation
Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,
The Prince and The Eldest Mini Princess were away all day at the Glasgow University open day* so I roped The Youngest Mini Princess into helping clean the house. After all, how else would a teenager want to spend a Saturday? She was very helpful and did loads although her observation that ‘cleaning is really boring’ obviously came as a huge surprise to me. I had mistakenly thought that cleaning the loo was a riot.
When it was all finished, she looked around and said ‘the thing is, I really didn’t want anyone to mess it up now.’
Ah, the irony!

*EMP said that two students gave a talk about the course and had a very amusing 10 minute rant about books - ‘The lecturers are going to tell you to buy books. Really, dinnae bother. It’s too expensive. Just save your money and get them out of the library. It has all of them. I bought one last year and I could have had it FREE as an e-book. Honestly, DINNAE buy them. WASTE of money. USE the LIBRARY.’
