Metro up to Spagni (I'll give you a clue, <Blank> Steps) and then a right good old wander around the streets of central Rome as we ate ice-cream, drank coffee and headed for the Trevi Fountain - absolutely rammed but very impressive nonetheless.  After that it was across the river to Trastavere for an equally good old wander and a great lunch out in a square. Plus we went in a few churches and generally soaked up all the atmosphere - loved it. And we're already thinking that we might stay in that area next time we're here - oh, there will be a next time!
