Extra special dog walk

Slightly to my surprise James got up this morning to join Martin, Jess and I on a dog walk (well .....I say got up.... we left at 11.00am).

We spent a lovely day together - he even accompanied me on a trip to Scotsdales Garden Centre to get some Pyracantha for the bottom of the garden.

Food has featured quite heavily in his visit home, with Martin cooking steak last night and roast dinner for lunch today.  But all too soon he has had to leave to get the coach back to Oxford.  I've loved having him back and I'm feeling a bit reflective and sad.   But, all is as it should be and I just need to re-adjust!
