The former Secession Chapel, Evanton

This fine building, standing halfway up a hill, dominates the village of Evanton. Secession churches broke away from the Church of Scotland, in the late eighteenth century, to pursue a simper form of worship. (If I have this all wrong, please correct me.) The Evanton Chapel itself dates from 1824. I was up in the area, as usual on recording duties.
