Eda on the Broom

Home now after a long but enjoyable week.
This morning John was off on a 50 mile bike ride so whilst waiting for Mummy to have a shower Eda, still in her PJ’s, asked to see ‘Broom’ (Room on the  Broom). This seems to have currently taken over from ‘ick Man (Stick Man) as a favourite. She doesn’t usually watch much but with this hectic week it has been a bit of a fall back. As she was clutching her daddy made broom I thought it made a nice blip. Daddy promised to take her on a broom ‘ride’ when he got back.
To get out for some fresh air we then walked the 2 miles to the St Werburgh’s city farm. Eda fed the goats, her favourites and the sheep before we went into the quirky, hobbit like cafe across the road for a coffee and then walked home again for lunch before saying goodbye for now.
Poor Grace has hardly any voice today. It just about held out. She had brought back a couple of really good professional shots of her and the two male leads from the show. I’ve added them as an extra. (She’s been nominated  for the Rosebowl for the third time for her role as Truly Scrumptious last year in Chittagong Chitty Bang Bang, hope she gets it as she was outstanding but the show has been nominated too and it’s unlikely they will get both)
A great week but I think we are all ready for a rest!
