RIP Toffee

Sadly we had to have Toffee put down today. Since we returned from our holiday she's got worse. She stopped climbing in her cage, stopped hiding food, didn't run around on the settee any more and wasn't eating enough. She became unstable and appeared breathless a lot. Dan was amazing with her and tried different medicine to get her better but eventually it was obvious that there was something really wrong with her and we made the heartbreaking decision to have her put down. The vet thought she'd probably got a tumour.
I'm writing this on Sunday and I still keep looking for her in her cage. She was our 5th hamster and definitely had the biggest personality of all of them. RIP Toffs. Xx
