Make do and Mend/Alter

I've been going through my wardrobe (minimalizing again!) and sorting stuff for the charity bag but also to see if there are any clothes that I'd forgotton about that could be made more wearable.

I bought this Nomads 3/4 sleeve corduroy dress from a charity shop a few months ago and although it is my size it felt a bit tight across the back when I moved my arms.

I decided today that the best option is to remove the sleeves and turn it into a pinafore dress. I used the sleeves to make facings for the armholes which gives it a nicer finish.

Sorted and one new (2nd hand) dress for me! ;-)
