Nukumea stream

This stream forms the northern boundary of Orewa beach, the opposite end to yesterday's view. At low tide, as here, it's quite shallow and so can be crossed easily if you don't mind wet feet. Cloudy today but stayed dry and quite warm so did a bit of gardening and then joined the usual Sunday afternoon strollers on the beach. Last night's dinner was a success. The restaurant had a new menu but everyone enjoyed their choices.
