Take a piece of paper...

January Challenge Day 9 - Paper: Take a photo of something made from paper

o·ri·ga·mi

Noun
The Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures.

As a young girl (there was such a time) I loved craftwork of any kind, and for a while Origami was a popular pasttime, though some of the more tricky, traditional Japanese subjects defeated me - even using the "proper" origami paper, which is strong yet light weight and allows knife sharp folds.

However, I learnt how to make the popular flapping swan (aka flapping crane), and after a quick refresh of the instructions produced the 3 examples here from a single sheet of A4 paper - and yes, if you pull their tails, their wings flap.
