George Square

Woke up feeling much better this morning so headed into the Briggait. I went via Queen St for speed. On the train I caught up with twitter and the biggest topic in my stream was the redesign of George Sq so I thought I thought I'd have a topical blip today.

The square was in a state of 'load out' as the event rigging from Christmas is taken down. To avoid the mess of heras, bins and toilets I had to angle the camera upwards and caught a glimpse of a rare blue sky.

You can see the shortlisted schemes at the Lighthouse or see images here but you can't vote on them. I think all of them include a water feature and no, they're not referring to Glasgow's generous share of rain fall.
