In the pink
League 1 of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) involves ten teams, who play each other home and away twice a season - 36 games in total. Today was the first game in the second round of fixtures, meaning that Falkirk played Peterhead, who they played in their first game back in August, but this time at home.
Home advantage certainly worked in Falkirk's favour today, as the Navy Blues ran out comfortable 4-0 winners. The Bairns may have had a player called Sammon at centre-forward, but it was the salmon-pink change strip worn by Peterhead that caught the eye.
