So this is Christmas

This afternoon we went to Polhill Garden Centre. Although they have a large outdoor plants area and impressive indoor gardening section,  they also have a range of lifestyle and home interiors departments.

As we entered the indoor area, I was overwhelmed by the Christmas displays. Everywhere we turned we were bombarded by Christmas paraphernalia . Some were quite beautiful but other decorations were very tacky.

My blip is of one of the two Sentries resplendent with their Busby hats, accompanied by two little soldiers. Everything was for sale and the tall soldier was £899 and he was not the most expensive thing on show.

I object to being subjected to Christmas in October and have seen Christmas cards in shops in September.

Children must be very confused and Christians very annoyed.
