What a surprise!

A day trip down to Oxford with my pal Renee to look at the Ashmolean's new exhibition about Pompeii, which is really rather good, and then a trip to the Bodleian to see their exhibition, Talking Maps, which also is very good, If you go look out for Grayson Perry's Brexit inspired tapestry.

However, the big surprise was the Daniel Meadows exhibition in the foyer, I've been a fan for ages. I didn't realise that the Bodleian had acquired his archive so this turned out to be my special surprise highlight of the day. Smashing! Have a look at his Photobus and digital storytelling.

Also, it was Matriculation so there were lots and lots of gowns in town!
