View across Hadleigh Ray, Essex

Another morning with me getting up and out before the sun had risen! Again I went to Two Tree Island and again it was grey and miserable. By the end of it was thinking about needing gloves! Anyway, here's a photo looking across Hadleigh Ray (foreground) and the Thames Estuary at Canvey Island (middle ground) Kent (background). This kind of the view that I've been wanting to photo, with the lights on, but everything else doesn't seem to be happening so this will have to do... for now!

The extras show an intrepid man going for a paddle. Considering the above comment about gloves he has to be commended! In the background of the 2nd extra is Canvey Island and it's seawall, with the roofs of houses poking above. You can tell why it's needs those sea defences!
