Mid-point
The 'before' was so shameful I didn't think to take a photo of it. Never, ever, if you drop a litre bottle of cooking oil on the floor and the glass smashes, imagine that the oil might be good for the wood. I know now that it's the wrong sort of oil and it just generates congealed grime. And more grime over time.
This is after serious cleaning, all the days I haven't been trying to save the world in London, with a scourer, a not very effective steam cleaner and a small sander. The work is as boring as the picture. A couple of days of varnishing next.
I am not aiming for perfection, just a marketable kitchen floor.
