Pied Oystercatcher

Today we paid a visit to the Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary & St. Kilda Beach Mangrove Trail. It started out cold and windy but things soon warmed up. This small bird was the standout for me.

The extra shows black swans in the distance near a small mangrove island in the direction of the Torrens Island Power Station. Taken from the lookout of the Mangrove Trail.
