Benmore Botanic Garden

A relatively clear drive west down the Clyde estuary to Gourock for the Western Ferries connection to Dunoon. We had high hopes of our visit to the Scottish rainforest. We were not disappointed! The sunshine. The towering Redwoods. The Japanese lake. The Himalayan and Andean shelters. The enthralling Fernery. In short, a grand day out. Despite the rainy drive home we had no tedious traffic delays and were home by 1830.
