Sally Mair - Loving life

Out for the count

Isn't she adorable when she's sleeping. This is her favourite place on the windowsill in the mornings. She manages to get herself between the curtain and the lining and usually sits up getting toasty warm from the radiator beneath her. This morning though she was lying on the windowsill with her cheek flat on the wood and I couldn't resist this shot.
Friday - , a lovely quiet morning, I did nowt but read the latest Quintin Jardine on my kindle, slobbing in bed with numerous cups of coffee and slices of toast. Went round to church with Colin where he had set out the tables for the sale tomorrow. This evening went to a Cursillo meeting at St Mary's Church in Dalkeith, 34 folks there and a very happy evening. Dreadful drive across town though, I ended up going via Portobello, its been raining since mid afternoon so conditions were not nice. Too many roads closed and traffic at a standstill in many places on the way across, it took almost an hour. Coming back at 9.30pm, it was still raining but only took 25 minutes.
Up in the morning early to make scones and head round to set up the sale. Doors open at 10.30am.
