Beeswax

Continuing the theme from yesterday, I have been trying to get some wax cleaned ready to try and make candles!
How hard can that be?
When you melt the wax remains from the honey extraction it turns into a block with many specks of brown propolis and bits of bee remains etc. If you use this for candles they spit and burst into flames! Apparently!
So I have been re-melting it through some old tights which seems to have removed most of that, and I have got quite a lot of wax now.
So phase 3 the candles!
Mediaeval people made them so I can too!!
