We did it!
Our choir won the premier prize at the National Mod. This is the conductor with her parents on either side. Her dad was also the conductor of the choir. The man posing with the conductor is Brendan Graham who wrote the song which was translated from Irish into Scottish Gaelic. It's about a woman whose daughter died during the Irish famine. He's written a trilogy about this and has just sold the film rights to Hollywood and now he has suggested the choir to sing part of the score. He's also the man that wrote the song You Raised me Up. A very successful day all in.
