I had another very busy day at work, so was not able to get out to enjoy any of the sunshine. I did get to enjoy cakes and coffee at a refreshingly civilized workshop though, which almost made up for all last year's lunchtime "because that's the only time when everyone is available" meetings. Maybe the cakes were a bit too good because not a lot in the way of stunning insights, but useful for other people in the project to get up to speed. However, I did get to show off my extensive vocabulary by explaining to someone what the word 'analog' meant. Unfortunately, the first thing I could come with was "something that's analogous to something else..."

This portrait was taken after work at this evening's technical meet up at one of the sponsors' plush new offices. Very impressive indeed, and their facilities put the free coffee vending machine that is our analogous perk well into the shade. This shot took a bit of persuading but thankfully she liked the results well enough to ask for an email copy.
