Flower Friday

The alstroemeria which I blipped 2 weeks ago are still going strong (as they do) so I thought I'd use them again today, but differently. The window of our dining room was steamed up as my Editor is busy cooking the Christmas cake in the adjoining kitchen, so as it looks over the garden I thought I'd make use of the diffused colours from there as a background. To add to the soft effect I used the Helios lens - there was no bokeh to provide the swirls which this lens produces but I liked the soft focus and the blur around the edges of the bouquet.
