People power

Today was a good day for our village. An application for a significant development in Milton Woods in the middle of the village was rejected by the planning committee. Many locals opposed this, even some of our youngest as you can see, and many of us delivered leaflets, spoke to other residents and held protests. The issue was never the applicant, but the destruction of our environment and the precedent that would be set by building on the green belt.

I guess you can tell I have strong, and yes emotional and nostalgic, opinions on the topic.
