The New Domes : Pollokshields Gurdwara, Glasgow

The skyine is changing on the southside of Glasgow. Here are two of the five domes on the roof of the New Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) in Pollokshields. The building is situated on Albert Drive, beside the Hidden Gardens at the Tramway. It looks vast, and from what I've read so far, will accommodate over 800 worshippers.

It's the first time I've been down to have a look. The Temple is still under construction, but I feel another occasional series coming on here. I'll be back down there again soon, as I've been eyeing up various other Blip opportunities.
