It sometimes blows on the Chatham Islands. Fortunately for us it wasn’t today.
We actually had some sunshine today while we were out at the amazing basalt cliffs.
Our bus had a breakdown, and we had to be ‘rescued’, but the show still went on, and we drove north and walked out to the incredible Stone Cottage. Built many years ago from blocks of solidified volcanic ash, it’s a wonder of eco living - no power in this dwelling.
