Meeting Sophie Christiansen

Sophie has won 5 Paralympic Gold Medals for ParalympicsGB- 3 of them at London 2012. She visited our school to speak at our prize evening today, and boy, she was AMAZING! Really fascinating to hear her talk about how she got into dressage, ended up at the Paralympics and how important the people supporting her are to the whole process of winning Gold Medals...

As a BIG fan of the Paralympics, I was thrilled to meet Sophie. You might notice I'm wearing my ParalympicsGB Supporter's scarf- which was the first thing she noticed when we were introduced. Lovely lady- very witty, and humble with all she has achieved. A real privilege to meet her today :D
