Advice please - anyone? Zoom Q2 and Q3HD

Sorry - I know it's a boring blip but why be part of an amazing community and not use you all?!!!
I need a reasonably good audio recorder to record Tom and Annie's live music. I've spotted this which has the extra added bonus of video as well and the audio quality has good reviews. It's around £170 which I shouldn't really spend at the moment but it does look quite exciting and it is for their education after all!!! Q2 or Q3 or perhaps something else entirely - Does anyone out there have any experience that might help me please?
