Watch your first step!
Thirty years ago I worked in retail... back in the day when we had price guns, the cashiers had to hand punch the department code, wholesale price and retail price for each item and... most warehouses at the time were one story tall and covered a lot of land. Today in major cities where land is expensive, three story tall warehouses like this one are starting to be built.
The main tenant is on the lower floor and has all the doors in the front of the building. Then it gets interesting. In back there are doors at various heights to accommodate all types of trucks and on the inside of the building there are industrial lifts to the second floor which can be storage, production or office space. The third floor is all office space... and yes that's a receiving door on the third floor - special forklifts required...
I got off work early as I have a very long and physical day tomorrow where I'll likely end up sleeping in the truck. With the heavy rain predicted the backyard has had zillions of birds flying around, two hummers sharing lunch (very rare) and a flock of bushtits chatting away on a tree out front.
