Toms
A collection of slightly mottled tomatoes from the allotment - all at varying stages of ripeness. They are proving an excellent addition to my lunch box!
Another wet day but I managed a relaxing walk with a colleague at lunchtime. We shared ideas and experiences of our hobbies and interests outside of work which was quite fascinating but also it was good to share some thoughts I have and get her perspective on them.
At home, Andy had another busy but productive day organising things. We also had our water softener detached from our main drinking tap in the kitchen. I'd been finding the water tasted salty. Testing of the water in the lab at work showed it was fine but had a slightly higher sodium content than the pure tap water. Now we have a separate water filter for the drinking water we take off the mains tap. It tastes better to me (although I am not sure Andy can tell any difference).
I'm also interested to look back at my blips from this time last year and observe we had the same problem with the boiler at the house at Liss - it had lost its water pressure. We've now got the pressure restored but I had to pop to the house tonight to test the boiler. It took it three attempts before the burner came on - good job it is being serviced in a few weeks! In looking back at my blips I also see how young Merlin looked and how much drier the weather was this time last year. Sorry, these things fascinate me!
Wishing you all well and hope you have had a happy day.
