"Splish, Splash I Was Takin' A Bath ...."*

Back to Nature. :) 

A group of mallards, both male and female, were taking a bath at Fishers Green. Their bathing seemed to follow a set pattern, a bit like a ritual. Birds use displays like this to communicate with one another.

It was lovely weather for ducks so Ollie dog and I headed for the hides between showers. I heard on the radio on the way home that Singin' In The Rain is showing at cinemas now so I watched the Gene Kelly sequence when I got home. It's wonderful. :)
