Face on the wall

This is an old gatehouse at the former airforce base at Sculthorpe, buildings are ruined now and graffiti have appeared around the place, rather spoiling the sense of history.

The area is still Ministry of Defence land and the Americans use it a few times a year to practise manoeuvres. The runway is very long and if you look at the map and choose satellite view you gain an idea of the layout.
