Fungi
It's that time of year. Lots of mushrooms of various sorts around the garden, but I was particularly taken with this group around the young weeping birch tree. It was planted last year, along with a number of other trees - is this outcrop related to the disturbance in the ground? But none of the other trees have the phenomenon, so why this one? Did it come with the "infection"?
Whatever - as the teenagers say - it looks interesting.
It sadly looks as though R's choice of house in Malmo has fallen through - they had a survey done which raised some serious issues around the construction of the extension and the roof. They are understandably (with a young family and in a foreign country) unwilling to take on a "construction project". So the house hunt continues.
