Snow pole

Felt a lot brighter this morning and so Grace and I went to visit my sister and brother-in-law in Durham. Went for a walk by the river and had tea and cake in the cathedral tea room, which was lovely. This is a snow pole on the fell road that crosses between the Allen Valley and Weardale. Not really enough snow today for it to be much use, but in tougher times it does help see where you're going (and how deep the snow is!).
