A demi day with a demi god (without his keeper; the CMC gave him a pass in exchange for services rendering)
I'm not sure I can go back to Emmi's; the Pier Arts Centre and its Mr Whippy installation is now cordoned off; Jackie got a double burger at 1334; we're all on the same page now.
Or.
Up to another bright day; to the Hope to get a (Cygnus) X1 to Stromness to meet and greet (although mostly greet) IainatCreel. We RVed at the library after a quick dash up Binkie's Brae to snaffle a HH shot in case all else failed.
Lunch at Elli's was inhaled and then we pottered the highways and byways of Stromness as well as quick scoot aboot the Pier Arts Centre (Mrs Tait's film's require closer examination; as does the written wortd of Iain Sinclair and also Pompey)
Irreverent chat a plenty (Sample: Tom: That vedning machine is awfy cheap. IAC: Why do you want to buy a vending machine?) and to the tat emporium; Alex chose wisely - a Stromness Athletic bobble hat which wouldn't look out of place at Villa Park; Tom got a Twatt coaster.
Then having been escorted from the Coop premises, we bade Hamnavoe farewell and got another X1 back to civilisation and a couple of showers.
The fire was reignited and we slumped into Back to the Future III
