Yesterday on my walk I noticed the recent heavy rain had dislodged these shell fossils from the bank beside the path.  The world wide web tells me these mollusc fossils in the rocks are known as monotis richmondiana which existed during the late Triassic and Jurassic era – some 200 million years ago.  Because they were loose on the surface I felt I could bring them home.
This morning I went to the movies to sit in the dark and wallow in the later part of Judy Garland's life.  Renee Zellweger is in nearly every scene playing Judy.  I loved it.
