Tree cutting

Several months ago we had a survey undertaken of all the big trees on the development where I live.  Today was the first major works day to carry out the actions suggested as being required.  One tree in our main meadow was taken down and the others had dead wood removed and the crown lifted (the lower branches removed) so that they would not hit anyone on the head.

It is much more tidy and will be safer for everyone.  More work tomorrow, although I will be back in London so will leave the chaps to it.
