Pub time
Early start this morning to start to assemble the birthday cake. The Swiss meringue buttercream went much harder overnight in the fridge than I expected and needed to be microwaved to get it smooth enough to put the two cakes together and a layer of icing on the outside as a starting point. Came back tonight and got the car packed for fly ball tomorrow and managed to get the cake iced and ready. Quite pleased with the final result just hope IK likes it. J went to the theatre with FM so RD, Kilda and myself went to Brewdog to wait for them to finish. Kilda had a great time getting fuss in the pub but still didn’t manage to get free beer.
