Tree roots on Langdon Hill

Although it rained again during the night it's been quite a nice day...

I went for a walk early around Langdon Hill, a national trust property just up the road from our cottage. Apart from enjoying a good walk I wanted to photograph these tree roots.

Just as I arrived the clouds broke up and the sun began to shine, although very welcome not what I wanted just then. I waited about half an hour for a cloud to appear and let me get this shot...

We went off and did a couple of things, had lunch at the Charmouth Beach Cafe then to Eype and Symondsbury.

Our last day, back home tomorrow, via Avebury if the weather is good.
