Armstrong Arches

I must have walked past this for the past two days without realising there was no longer any scaffolding on the Armstrong building, so decided this would be my blip for today. If nothing else, I hope this will make me a bit more observant to the world around me.

I love the architecture of lots of the buildings in Newcastle, but particularly the university ones. As my friend said, you can't help but feel proud when the university's crest is highlighted by the sun like that (I apologise for how cheesy that may sound!)

I also didn't realise until this evening that someone's head is in the corner of the photo - that pretty much sums up how observant I am!
