Beyond Hope

... and Edale - 2 villages on our way today to a walk in the High Peak. Not a long walk, but a tough one with a steep ascent and descent and a blanket bog to traverse on the top. The weather was perfect - blue sky and almost no wind - that is until we got about half way across the bog, when we walked into a cloud. Of course we walked out of it on the descent. We were hoping to see mountain hares. We managed to see one but it was quite a way off so the resulting image is cropped, and not in the same league as those taken by my friend Derbyshire Harrier
