Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Now there's a thought...

Had the stitches taken out from the two punch biopsies on my face today, all very painless as was the flu jab I had persuaded the nurse to do at the same time. I'm also up to date with all my vaccinations for India so that was good news too.
Next it was round to Kate's for a quick sandwich then round to Buyrite to look at a new sink for the rectory. They were very friendly and helpful as usual, it's nice to deal with a small local company rather than a multinational. We were due to meet a Handyman at the rectory next but had an hour or so to spare so went out to Craigie Farm for a coffee to pass the time. They are preparing for a big expansion over the winter months with the development of a farm park and resiting of various other elements of the complex... Watch this space.
This evening we went down to Hector's for the regular pub quiz with Ali and Stuart and had a very satisfactory score if not a winning one. No prosecco was consumed tonight, but I rather liked the sentiment on this bottle.
Steps 5590 this week just isn't happening.
