Red Road Rocket

Another busy day. Annie was up early to drive to Swindon for a meeting (and home again this evening). I (Chris) had an early hospital appointment (regular check up) and was then in the Aylesbury office. Due to an admin error, I had to return to the hospital later in the afternoon so some tests I had done back in the summer could be re-run. They'd not correctly labelled the first set and the lab, whilst acknowledging tests had been submitted in my name, would not confirm the results were mine! Better safe than sorry I suppose.

After work a quick run out to see my sister and wish her a happy birthday before getting out for the camera club. Our first competition night of the year and the last few weeks of encouragement seems to have done the trick as we had 73 entries (last year we typically got 35-45 per comp). The standard was high and the judge had a real challenge. 

Just time for a bit of an emergency blip in the car park afterwards, a slightly sweaty looking Golf GTI (ours) in the cold air. 

p.s. my apparently bad parking was a consequence of the car parked next to me's awful lining up with a space rather than my inability to see the white line, honestly!
