Gig!

When Alf's course started they were all put into bands. This evening they all had to perform. 

Alf's band kicked off with a storming set including 'Good Times, Bad Times, Valerie and Long Train Runnin'' as well as a couple of originals. They were very good.

The next band were also great with a fine song selection including some Smiths and New Order, they also had a really good frontman.

The rest of the bands were variable, there are some very good musicians and some not so good but they all really went for it.

One of the highlights of the night was Ed the compère (see extra) who also did a 5 song rap set that was errr quite challenging.

All the bands now split up and they form new ones, I'm hoping Alf gets a good one for the next gig.
